Charities of Crownsville Curves
Annual Food Drive in March - We are on our 6th year of collecting food donations from our members. We have been able to supply the Anne Arundel County Food Bank with over 2000 pounds of food.
Collection of Toys for the Sharing Foundation - Every Nov/Dec we collect toys for the working needy of Anne Arundel County.
Collection of School Supplies for the Sharing Foundation - Every summer, we collect school supplies for the working needy of Anne Arundel County.
Have donated to Survivors Offering Support. Our members hand made over 50 quilted pillows for breast cancer patients to use in their cars when coming home from the hospital to place between their surgery and the seat belt. The members have also made nearly 120 pink knitted scarves for breast cancer patients.
We had an Artist's and Author's yard sale supported by our members where we raised $1200 for The YWCA's home for battered women in Arnold.
Have donated mittens, scarves and food to Sarah's House in Ft. Meade that houses homeless Anne Arundel County residents.
Have donated food to the Lighthouse Shelter in Annapolis donated by our members.
Our members donated money for the purchase of phone cards for our soldiers in Iraq.
Crownsville Curves has donated many free months to various organizations such as:

MD Dept of Housing and Community Development for the benefit of the Salvation Army
Arthritis Walk
