Annual Food Drive

GOAL: GAIN 900 POUNDS

No, not a member weight gain goal, this is the weight of food we want to collect in this year's Annual Curves Food Drive.

See our special promotions tab for how you can get involved and become a new member of Curves.

We're collecing for ReadiFood – Reading's Food Bank

ReadiFood sets out to provide emergency food parcels to people in real need across the Reading area.  Food parcels are only given to clients referred to us by local agencies such as Social Services, Reading Borough Council, Reading Single Homeless Project (now Launchpad), Home-Start, etc.

ReadiFood is a rebranding of the longstanding Food Parcel Service provided by Faith Christian Group, now run in increased co-operation with other food providers across the town and region, such as CIRDIC (Churches in reading Drop in Centre).

Here at the club we're collecting non-perishable food....

Tinned Meat and Fish, Tnned Fruit, Tinned Puddings and Custard, Tinned Pies and Vegetables as well as Basic Toiletries.
