Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser
Members of Curves-Villa Hills hosted a Tent Rummage Sale and Raffle on Saturday, August 20 from 8am - noon and raised over $2200 for local breast cancer awareness programs. During this event, stylists from Amsterdam Family Hair Studio hosted a CutAThon with $10 haircuts, split the pot and raffle. AmeriStop provided food items for purchase with proceeds going toward programs sponsored by the 2nd Annual KY Dragonboat Festival - Paddling for the Pink. Leftover treasures were taken to St. Vincent dePaul, Dress for Success & other charities. Thank you to all who worked this event and supported our efforts with their donations and purchases. Our Stronger Together dragonboat team won the best team name and competed with honor improving their time with each heat at AJ Jolly Park on Saturday, September 10. Our team was ranked #7 out of 59 teams in their fundraising efforts. We are Stronger Together!!!!
