STATIONERY DRIVE
Back to School for many children in a disappointing time. As keen as they are to learn, they have no books, rulers pens etc. But this year, that was not the case for the children at the Lawrencia School in Kraaifontein. Our generous Members collected two car loads of stationery that was delivered to the school and most gratefully received. This school has up to 70 learners in a class and three at one desk but that doesn't dampen their enthusiasm to learn. Some of the walk long distances to get to school. The school will receive the food donated to Curves Cape gate during the Annual Food Drive this month (March) that will be distributed to families in need. If you would like to join Curves for a dontation of a bag of groceries you will benefit a family as well as your own health and well-being.
